Fairfield County residents sent their support behind President Barack Obama with 7,743 votes in yesterday’s election.
The rest of the candidates played out as follows: Mitt Romney 3,996 votes, Gary Johnson 67 votes, Virgil Goode 25 votes, and Jill Stein 27 votes.
President Obama has gone on to win another four years, earning 303 electoral votes.
