RIDGEWAY — A group of artists from the Columbia area stopped in Ridgeway for an evening of painting.

The group About Face, which is affiliated with the Columbia Museum of Art, has been painting together for 20 years and often uses its time on the third Saturday of each month to take to the streets.

Members spend about four hours drawing and then enjoy a nice lunch in whichever town they are visiting, or they pack a picnic lunch.

About Face weekly drawing sessions are held at the Museum on Mondays with varying topics from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. On Tuesdays they have portrait drawing 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and figure drawing from 7:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. The first visit is free.
