WINNSBORO — The local Rotary Club is one member stronger and has closer ties to its hometown newspaper because Shamieka Johnson-Sims recently joined the local Rotary Club.
Sims is employed by The Herald Independent in Winnsboro where she works as staff writer.
She was sponsored by Rotarian Frances Lee O’Neal.
She received her Rotary pin which makes her membership official.
