WINNSBORO — James Green will host “The ABC’s of DNA” at 11 a.m. March 21 at the Christ Church Community Center next door to the Fairfield Museum, 231 S. Congress St.

Green will give a presentation about the mysteries of DNA, and discovering the hidden genealogical treasures within. He will share his personal experiences using DNA testing while searching for his family genealogy.

He will help to unravel the confusing acronyms and terms associated with ones DNA reports so members and interested members of the public are encouraged to bring their printed reports this day.

He will also review companies offering DNA testing and show you how to use this tool to discover family information treasures hidden in your own DNA.

Call Frances Lee O’Neal ( 803-635-3027), program chair for the Fairfield Genealogical Society, for more information.
