WINNSBORO — For a sporting chance at a new car, play the The Fairfield County Disabilities and Special Needs Board 2013 Golf Tournament on Monday.

Wilson Auto Sales and Truvista teamed up to sponsor and hole-in-one car giveaway during the event that starts at 10 a.m. at the Oak Hills Country Club.

“We are grateful for our local business sponsors. Trusvista and Wilsonautossales.com have been loyal supporters of the golf tournament for the past four years,” said Becky Swearingen, residential and day needs coordinator with Fairfield County Disabilities and Special Needs.

The Fairfield County Disabilities and Special Needs Board 2013 Golf Tournament is co-sponsored by the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce.

“Ours is a great partnership and is so beneficial to the residents in Fairfield County and their families that are affected by the services FCDSN provides,” said Terry Vickers, president of the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce.

The captain’s choice tournament currently has about 84 entries, according to Swearingen. There are 20 teams right now but she said there is space for more people. FCDSN would prefer people pre-register for the tournament, if possible. The $75 per person cost includes lunch.

To register, contact Laura Collins at lcollinsfdsn@truvista.net.

Not a golfer? Contributions are welcome even the donor leaves the golf clubs in the bag. Contact Collins for more information about donations.
