We are not sure of the reason that Ms. Parker was not sworn in at that meeting, but we hope that she will be able to take her seat in time for the called meeting this Thursday, July 16 and the regularly scheduled meeting on July 21. As the beginning of school gets closer each day, there is, we are sure, a lot of work for the school district and the full school board to do.
That chair up there needs to be filled, and the people elected Polly to be the one to fill it. District 7 deserves representation just as much as the other six districts do.
