On Aug. 20, at 2 p.m., students, faculty, friends and family of the late Whitney Pope Muller will gather at Richard Winn Academy to dedicate the Whitney Pope Muller Walkway.

The walkway connects Richard Winn’s main building to the Charles J. Beach Science Building and provides shelter from inclement weather for students.

Whitney, a member of the class of 2011, was a beloved scholar and athlete who died in December 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer.
