The Richard Winn Lady Eagles pulled out a 3-2 win Tuesday against Newberry Academy.
Carson Justice carried the RWA Eagles to victory, dominating the final set of the match.
RWA won the first set 25-8, but then dropped the next two sets to Newberry Academy 25-16 and 25-18.
The Eagles bounced back in the fourth set, winning 25-16 and setting up the final and deciding set.
During that set, Justice took over, scoring seven points in the 15-1 win for RWA.
The Lady Eagles took advantage of 13 service errors committed by the Newberry Academy Eagles squad to move past the bunch in one of the closer matches between the teams in recent memory.
