McCrorey Liston Elementary School celebrated grandparents day on Thursday.
The students at McCrorey Liston Elementary School performed in front of a packed room for grandparents day.
Grandparents hold a special place in the hearts of children at McCrorey School of Technology. They came together to say thank you at they held its annual Grits for Grandparents on Thursday, Sept. 20 in the gymnasium.
Principal Chandra Bell and parent Liaison Yolande Montgomery were on hand to greet grandparents as they came in, and staff helped serve breakfast. Grandparents enjoyed performances of “I Love You,” “You Are My Sunshine,” “Joyful, Joyful,” “Happy Grandparent’s Day,” poems and more.
