The following are comprised of reports taken by the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

GREAT FALLS

OCT. 9

A shoplifting case was reported at the Wilco station off Highway 200.

OCT. 10

Officers responded to the report of someone putting nails onto a driveway. Damage occurred to a vehicle’s tires on the Nickey Road property as a result of the nails.

RIDGEWAY

OCT. 7

A larceny was reported off Tanglewood Drive. The victim said this was the third time she had money stolen from her while at Tanglewood Health Care.

OCT. 9

Two speakers and the box they sit in were reported stolen off of Syrup Mill Road.

OCT. 10

A larceny of pills was reported off of West Third Street. Upon arrival the investigating officers learned the woman who called in the alleged theft, Tessa Elizabeth Strunk, 40 of 370 Third St., Ridgeway had an outstanding warrant for her arrest and her husband, David Alan Strunk, 44, 370 Third Street. Both were taken into custody.

WINNSBORO

OCT. 5

The head off of a boat motor was reported stolen off of St. Luke Church Road.

OCT. 5

A man reported his license plate was stolen off Columbia Road while he fished in Lake Monticello.

OCT. 5

Vandalism was suspected by vehicle owners after flat tires were reported on two vehicles at a home off of Ravenscroft Road.

OCT. 6

A vehicle was reported stolen in the Smallstown Road area but was later recovered off Garner’s Ferry Road. A toolbox and a spare battery where missing when the vehicle was found.

OCT. 8

A car was reported keyed off of Highway 321 South.

OCT. 10

Vandalism was reported at the Road Runner Cafe with vandalism resulting in damage to the bathroom window.

OCT. 10

An air compressor, casting aluminum and some brass valves were reported stolen off State Highway 200.

OCT. 10

A case of credit card fraud was reported from a resident at Belvedere Court.

OCT. 10

An attempted stolen vehicle case was reported off of Bobwhite Drive. There was dispute about ownership of the vehicle in question but when contacted the owner stated she had no intentions of selling it and that she wanted to press charges should a suspect be located.
