WINNSBORO — New members of the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce were treated to a reception at Honeysuckle Acres, complete with a chocolate waterfall. Around 80 people attended the business after hours event, said Susan Yenner with Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber members used the time for networking and fellowship. That type of laid back interaction, it is hoped, will help spur economic development in the county.
Several new chamber members said they were excited to be joining the organization and looking forward to helping grow the business community within the county.
New member Bobby Taylor, an Aflac agent from the Camden area, has a special interest in serving the people of Fairfield County. Taylor and his wife, Rebecca appreciated the networking and the support supplied by Terry Vickers, president of the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce, and by her staff.
