WINNSBORO — The Inquirendo Book Club holds its 44th annual Open Meeting at 4 p.m. March 25 at the First United Methodist Church, 109 W. College St. A panel of three local authors will speak. The writers will share stories about the places and people of Fairfield County.

Hannah Phillips is renowned for her historical and sometimes hysterical tours to all corners of Fairfield County. She will relate some of these experiences as well as highlight a published book about her family.

Virginia Schafer has a book in progress called Legends of Fairfield County. It is a pictorial postcard book with copy about the Legends including early settlers, historical military men, educators, religious leaders, and progressive leaders in the county.

Charlene Herring, mayor of Ridgeway, has been entertaining and interviewing interesting personalities on her spacious front porch. Her forthcoming book will highlight those conversations and give an insight into Ridgeway and Fairfield County — then and now.
